2. I love love love designing characters, and just the shapes you can make with bodies. This guy reminds me of that actor Chazz Palminteri who does a ton of cop/mafia parts. I see him all the time, recently in The Usual Suspects, and I had to look up his name just now. E’s just friggin Italian!

3.Taylor Swift was recently on SNL and did a PSA on teens against bad parent driving. She wore headgear and she still looked cute. I wondered if a crazy hot emo girl would look any less gorgeous if she had some non-piercing metal in her face. Hot? or not? Happy Holla-days everyone!

I’m back in the U.S., with lots of energy and brand new things to share with you! Spring quarter is coming soon, and before that happens, I thought I’d stop here first and let you know what has been happening and where I’ve been. This week I was in Thailand, and I kept a journal during my trip. There are a whopping 17 pages of art and words up online, and will be available anytime in the Other Comics section. New York is a magnificent place. Can you believe that I went there for the first time ever?? I had a blast with my classmates, Ben Frisch, Amber Gant, Lilly Higgs, Caleb Soloman, and Dean of SCAD: John Lowe. It was a brilliant week, felt longer than 8 days, and it’s too bad I won’t be back for a long long time. I kept a log of it in my sketchbook. It’s filled with visits to plenty of professional offices and practicing artists, including:

• Paulo Rivera (whose name has a ‘o’ in place of the ‘u’. Gawrsh, I’m a great journalist).
