I'm actually a regular customer at this store. Jeff, the owner, owns what is actually one of the better comic book shops in Orange County. Most of the remaining shops focus on product that sells, mainly current comics and recent back issues and then other things like cards and other gaming stuff. Jeff is one of the few that still keeps a really good selection of back issues, including Silver and Golden Age books. Jeff may run his business a little differently than other guys do but he's still in business after a decade while many other shops in the Orange County area have gone the way of the goonie bird. He's always given me good service and he has a regular customer base that continues to come back to his shop every week. By your own admission, you were also served well so it's surprising to me that you took some shots at him here on your blog. I've been in some very unfriendly comic book shops in my time, where the lights never get turned on, the employees are blaring loud music and even talking down to their customers. JNJ Comics is not a place like that and if you had a good shopping experience there, that's the message you should be sending to people.
